ABOUT ME

My name is Naman Sharma and I'm a junior at UT Austin studying Finance. I love reading and learning about anything Finance, whether it's about the markets, investments (specifically venture), or global politics. I'd say I'm a pretty adventurous guy who obsesses over random niches of the internet such as r/grilledcheese, r/philosophy, and of course, r/wallstreetbets. I spend my free time playing tennis, dancing (shoutout UT Punjabbawockeez), or creating way too many Spotify playlists to actually keep up with. I alternate between R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, feel-good indie bands, and awesome movie soundtracks -- thanks Hans Zimmer. I love strategy games, cinnamon rolls, mental health awareness, coffee cake, raw data, insulin, and fierce debates.  I focus on expanding my worldview: either moving towards a goal or experiencing something new. I'm definitely a bit lazy so pretty much every blog post you'll see here is a culmination of infinite short bursts of motivation/productivity. I'm working on it.
